26 Year Anniversary!
Today is our 26 year wedding anniversary! Wow, that time flew by fast! We have grown so much in our relationship and how we communicate. It's interesting to see how our lives have changed since then. We still love each other very much and enjoy each other's company, but I appreciate our relationship more now. We both know how to compromise, and we both "win" once in awhile. Now, what will the next 26 years bring?
We were married in Reno, Nevada, but we had a nice reception at my parent's house. Here we are cutting the cake my mother made. She is an awesome cake decorator and used to teach classes when I was little. I remember passing out supplies to the ladies at our church. My mom is amazing!
Slow My Roll Blog
I really need to slow my roll! This next week is going to be crazy. So why am I starting a blog now? It's a great way to get things off of your mind and onto paper (okay, a computer screen). I'm not a good sleeper and I often wake up with thoughts running through my head. I've also realized, from reading other blogs, that I have a lot of interests, ideas and skills to share. I'm looking forward to sharing in the near future.
